Creative Writing

This program is designed for middle schoolers who are interested in learning more about the art of writing stories. Participants will learn about the elements of a good story and utilize that knowledge to write a short story. The first four sessions will include a time of free-writing, a short mini-lesson on story writing, and fun activities designed to hone specific writing skills. The final two sessions will be workshops so that participants can get peer feedback on their writing.
